Is there a graphical boot process?

Hey there all, I was just wondering if there is anything out there to allow slackware to have a graphical boot process? I was really wondering simply due to the fact that I would like to make some of my own graphics for the boot process? But i have never seen anything like this done.

LILO also supports bitmaps, so you can have the same graphic in LILO as you do for your bootsplash. The best howto I've found on the subject is here: http://www.princessleia.com/liloSplash.php

It's a bit of a joke, actually.... try it, and see what it does. Just be sure to follow the suggestion to make a backup Linux image so you can undo it.

I've seen your sig a few times... What does that do? I'm not familiar with lilo. Put it in a perpetual init6 or something? I'm sure your aware that people literally do what they read sometimes.. Atleast your nice enough to tell people to back things up for the ones that don't understand... :-)

I always thought the "rm -rf /" one was really cruel... I'm sure alot of noobs got screwed on that one...
