I somehow missed that post. That's really quite shocking. 100,000 dollars but not enough to replace a tyre? We'll have to try and get Patreon up to at least 3 or 4k a month.

I think that 100000k is the revenue. With a 30% margin for distribute between two we have 15000k for both. I don't know if 100000k is revenue in a year or in two years.

Pat wrote that generated sales were $100K but he received only $15K. So yeah, perhaps not enough for car repairs.

That said, if there were $100K in sales, then eventually Pat could be doing well from various sources if there are no greedy middle folks taking a bite. I still would like to see Pat sell some merchandise. I really would like a Slackware cap, cup, t-shirt, and mouse pad -- with the traditional logo. :)

What about a quality 'branded' USB stick with a release version LiveSlack preinstalled? I would definitely buy one, despite having the capability of creating one myself (unbranded)...
