yes, I had problems with swaret as well, when doing an upgrade of the complete system, it removed some essential lib for gnome. I installed it swaret --install nameofthelib and everything was fine again...

This is quite typical, swaret is a nice tool, but you can't really trust it.

i agree. one other rather glaring Caveat in using swaret current: you're volunteering to be an Alpha and Beta tester for some configurations. i noticed this the last time i opened up Gimp. current gave me a 1.3 "path to excellence" alpha version. it seems to work fine, tho.

For all the people who have problems with apache after upgrading, this is because the directory where the modules are stored changed to /usr/libexec/apache (I believe from /usr/libexec but I'm not sure).

To solve the problem you need to modify /etc/apache/httpd.conf and alter the module paths or replace your old apache config file with the new one /etc/apache/httpd.conf.default
