I have an ISP that provides me with an IPv4 address through DHCP, but since they are not completely set up yet to provide IPv6 using DHCP, I have a static IPv6 /64 subnet assigned to me.

Its my case. Whole network setup based no IPv4 with setting distributed by DHCP(network address, gateways, http proxy configuration, VoIP softphone/hardphone settings), but a number of workstations and local server machines(with Slackware as OS) are required to have active ipv6 subsystem.

Thanks for your feedback. I have updated my patches so that IPv4 and IPv6 can use DHCP or static address configuration independantly. New patches are available at:
http://freeshell.de/~lwedding/slackware-14.0/

To configure each interface for IPv6, use the following settings as required in rc.inet1.conf:
IPv6ADDR[0]=""
USE_DHCPv6[0]=""

Note: I do not have a DHCP setup, so I have not tested and therefore cannot confirm that the IPv6 DHCP actually works. If someone else could test this and let me know would be appreciated.

I have not addressed points 2 & 3.

AFAIK dhcpcd doesn't support DHCP-assigned IPv6 addresses, which is a usual setup in corporate environments.
