Thanks for your feedback. I have updated my patches so that IPv4 and IPv6 can use DHCP or static address configuration independantly. New patches are available at:

To configure each interface for IPv6, use the following settings as required in rc.inet1.conf:
IPv6ADDR[0]=""
USE_DHCPv6[0]=""
Note: I do not have a DHCP setup, so I have not tested and therefore cannot confirm that the IPv6 DHCP actually works. If someone else could test this and let me know would be appreciated.
I have not addressed points 2 & 3.
