Ipv4 reverse

I want to make an ipv4 reverse. I want that instead of my ip adress I could see my domain in the IRC servers. Let a say: smb@superhost.com instead of smb@99.99.99.99. Where i have to configure the Lan getaway server ?

You'll need access to the DNS servers for your IP address and then you'll need to insert a reverse DNS record for your IP address. Generally, this requires you 'own' the IP in question.
