IP Masquerading problem
Hi guys
I've been trying for couple of hours to set up a Slackware box to share internet but in vain...
I copyied the example script from tldp.org (rc.firewall-2.4) and made a modification for EXTIF="ppp0" considering I've got ADSL connection.
After I put the script in rc.local and restart the computer, I got the following:
" Done loading modules.
Enabling forwarding..
Enabling DynamicAddr..
Clearing any existing rules and setting default policy..
iptables: Bad built-in chain name
FWD: Allow all connections OUT and only existing and related ones IN
Enabling SNAT (MASQUERADE) functionality on ppp0 "
From the MASQ_host, which has 192.168.0.2, I can ping both interfaces for MASQ_server (eth0 64.180.x.x and eth1 192.168.0.1) Also, everything else is set properly, like default gateway, dns server in resolv.conf, etc. With all this done, I still can not get on internet from the 192.168.0.2
Any idea why? Should I do something special for Slackware?
Thanks
