Interupt Handler on SHUTDOWN
 
Hey,
Im new to slackware to make it short when i shut down using init 0 or shutdown -h now
i get an error...

Power Down.
unable to handle kernel NULL pointer diffrence @ virtual address 0000000048

in interupt handler -  not syncing.

the lines represent code i cant remember.. after this nothing hapens when i tap the power button it emedialty shuts down.,, I dont get this if i use Ctrl Alt Del instead of the other methods i have used. like i said im new to slackware (make it simple :))

Looks like an ACPI or APM issue. If you're using the stock Slack kernel you should probably recompile and configure only for ACPI if you're using something newer than a PII.
