Internet is working/not working
 

Hello

I have Slackware 10 machine connected to normal rooter win DHCP on.
When make netconfig the Internet works OK, when i reboot it sometimes work sometimes not.
When i repeat netconfig sometimes the net start working sometimes not. (after reboot of two, and netconifg or two it star working again)

What's wrong?

Are you sure the module is getting loaded by hotplug?

firewall ar not actived ?

1. Are you using custom compiled kernel?

I assume you are NOT.

When it doesn't work. Get the following output and post here
If you are not sure how to save the output, just add >> /home/lq_network_debug.txt behind each command. eg.
dmesg >> lq_network_debug.txt

Posting your /etc/rc.d/rc.inet1.conf and /etc/resolv.host would also help.
