Hello!
I am running Slackware Linux 11.0 with kernel test26.s. I have installed idjc-0.6.12-i486-1sl from slacky.eu with all its dependencies. The program starts ok, but whenever I try to play a an mp3 file, it is mute. No sound at all. With other players I do have sound. I have not experimented with file formats other that mp3. I use the default profile and default settings. Here are the messages that I get when I start the program and try to play my playlist:

Has anyone been successful in using the internet DJ console? If so, I would be glad if he shares his experience.

I could never even get the thing to run (although I didn't really persevere this) . I start the jack server , try to run idjc and constantly get the error "The JACK sound server needs to be run .....".

From the cli - "ps -ef " is showing me "jackd -R -dalsa -dhw:0 -r48000 -p1024 -n2" so it looks like Jack is definitely running Perhaps you have some ideas ?
