Angry Intel Modem Crashing System


I've been through a lot of places seeking my solution. I haven't found it at all.

I have a Slackware 9.1 running on kernel 2.4.26 recently compiled. My problem is with modem Intel 537 v.90 Winmodem. Some time ago i have already amke the modem work modem in this kernel but in other compilation, but this time i couldn't make ti run as well. I don't know what to do.

See if you can search around for and specific configuration issues with the modem. You might want to try the mfg. to see if they have any support for linux. If not you may want to revisit how you did it last time, or restart the install from scratch.
