Intel 536EP with kernel 2.6.15.6


hello again
I am using slackware 10.2

i can't make my drivers work with 2.6 kernel
i do this
make clean
make 536 or make 536ep depands on drivers
and that work
i do make install
i get error boot scripts not found can't install or somthing simliar.
ok
i went throug readme file 1000 times there is procedure what to do if you can compile drivers but the boot scripts won't install
after secund step i got stuck.
if there is anyone who make this drivers and modem work under 2.6.15.6 kernel or later or any 2.6.xx let me know.
i am lusing my mind.

Do make modules_install, make install is used when you compile the kernel running make bzImage.
