OK, the cli version works, but what about the applet in Mate? I could not make work it. Probably Gapan could help with it, couldn't he?

I have just uploaded my SlackBuild script for insync-kde on my SlackHacks repository

i used KDE on daily basis, so i'm proving clienta app for KDE only, but you can grab the SlackBuild and change it a little bit for other DE supported by insync if you like :)

Hi, thank you, I will try it as soon as possible and will send a feedback.

I tried it out changed to insync-mate, but without success, the problem with the missing applet still remains. Any other suggestion?

i didn't have Mate installed on my system (yet), so i'm unable to help you on that
i tried to use XFCE, and the script work for XFCE, with some minor adjustment :)
