Installing the Downloaded version of 8.1

Hi Folks,

Just a quick question, I downloaded slackware 8.1 from one of the mirror sites and found that the download (non iso) was over 2gb when complete!!

What do I need to burn off to CD so that I can install it onto my standalone linux (to-be) machine??

No worries folks. I downloaded the install ISO and all is fine now. Guess I will just use the 2gb of info for reference and source etc.

How long did it take you to download that 2gb of files? And what is your net connection (DSL, Cable, etc)?

Once you downloaded all the files & folders, it should have been a hard drive installation routine you could have done. Info is on Slackware's website I believe.
