Question Installing tgz's in Slack

How do i install tgz's in slack 9?

Really, digitaldeity, go back over the Slack book again or search the site here. Download a .tgz and cd to the directory and 'installpkg foo.tgz' - or just run 'pkgtool' and do it sorta backwards. Piece of cake.
