Installing Slackware Current


How would you install the slacware-current distro - and why are there no ISOs? I have tried checking all the read-me and help

You either download all the packages you want manually, and then remove the old ones and install the new ones with the package tools, or you can use swaret (or a similar tool) to do it all automatically.

There are no ISOs because -current is constantly changing as things get updated, that 's the whole idea - it's not a single snapshot like a release version is.

On the slackware site you can download all the packages, but I think that this is for upgrading. I have Slackware 9 but used swaret to upgrade to slackware-current. Went without a hitch. Just do the kernel yourself.
