Installing KDE using Konstruct

Hi everyone,

I Installed KDE's lastest version to my computer using the easy-to-install software called Konstruct. But It installed KDE on to my /root directory. I want it to completely install itself my system and I dont wanna use "EXPORT ext=/blah/blah" way to run Kde. How can I tell the program to do so ? I have root privs.

Add yours EXPORT ext=/blah/blah into /etc/profile.

Its valid if I am the only user. I want other users to access and use Kde.

What it I move KDE3.5.2 directory to somewhere like /opt and change the Export variables according to it and include them in /etc/profile ?

Will the other users be accessible to Kde ?

As I know /etc/profile is used for all system users.
