Thanks gegechris99..I needed two dependency packages..

kdemultimedia-4.8.5-i486-1
kdelibs-4.8.5-i486-1

And it works. :)

If you need a burning-program and don't want to install KDE, you could also give xfburn a try, it is available at slackbuilds.org http://slackbuilds.org/repository/14.0/system/xfburn/ and the only dependencies (also available at slackbuilds.org) are libisofs and libburn.

I'm running Slackware 14.0 with Xfce, and I'm using Brasero as a burning app. It's a full replacement for K3B (which I've been using before) and works great.

If you want to handle all the multimedia stuff you'll basically need all the gst-* stuff from SBo, as well as totem-pl-parser for handling M3U and PLS playlists.

I've fine-tuned the various SlackBuild script in my personal repo, and here's a nicely integrated burning app which I can only recommend.

BTW, I gave Xfburn a spin. Nice potential, but it doesn't handle the multimedia stuff and playlists for the moment.

Cheers,

Niki
