installing from hard drive

is there any way to install from the hard drive acting like the cd-rom. my install disk is weird because i install and select full, and it skips some packages. then ill install again and it will install different packages. not sure what the problem is. what is also strange is i have used this disk to install full on different machines and it worked great. just my home computer has problems.

acculy iso buster will do as well, just extract the slackware iso to a folder on what ever drive, rawrite your 3 install disks, reboot with your bare.i image in a: and away you go, oh you have to have your linux partitions set up on your linux drive BEFORE you start the install and be sure you leave the extracted iso in the directory structure it extracts in.

worked like a charm for me
