The ConsoleOne download from Novell contains a bunch of RPM's which probably need converting with rpm2tgz. There is also a 'c1-install' script which will need modifying, but I am not sure exactly what i am supposed to modify, besides anything which refers to rpm's. I have seen a couple of different posts of people actually getting this to work, but they forget the most important part, HOW they got it to work. Any insight or links for instructions to get this to work would be greatly appreciated.
I have actually seen a couple of references on this forum, one member I believe name 'flyfishin' said he was able to get consoleone working on slackware after a few modifications. No further details were given so I guess I will have to figure something out on my own. I just recently was able to get RConsoleJ working on slack and would like to get consoleone working as well. I am sure it can be done but I don't know enough about linux yet to fix that problem without help elsewhere. I will post back if I find something out in this or another forum.
