installing an ethernet card driver

Ok, I have a driver,
natsemi.c
and I need to install it. What do I do? As you can probably guess, I'm really lost, and really n00bish.

Thanks a lot,
Cam

I'm not sure why you want to install that driver when its already included in Slackware..

If you recompiled your stock kernel from your initial install, easiest way is to just recompile your kernel to include the module, etc.

If you haven't and your using the stock kernel with Slack, just do a:

modprobe natsemi

And it will load it to be used. Or you can just run netconfig and see if it just detects your card to use that module.
