Installing 13.37 on the VirtualBox from an ISO

I have an ISO of 13.37, I have selected the ISO as the booting medium in the Virtual Box and I do get uptil the screen where one is supposed to select the source media. Because I am installing from an ISO what option I am supposed to select out of the 6 present there?

Apologies for the dumb question.

As far as VirtualBox is concerned, the ISO is a CD. Just choose the CD drive as the source media..

I tried that before asking here. When I select the source medium first, it detects the CD drive from /dev/sr0 and then when I select the target /dev/sda1 and get on with it, it again asks me to select the source media and this time when I select the same, it is unable to detect it, it says "A CD drive couldn't be found on any of the devices that were scanned..."

Guide please.

To make the .iso available to the VM you can use the VirtualBox configuration GUI -> File -> Virtual Media Manager -> CD/DVD images (tab) -> Add and then browse to the .iso file. Once that is done you can use the VM's screen's host window's Devices -> CD/DVD devices and select the .iso to "load" the virtual CD/DVD (.iso) into the virtual CD/DVD drive.

Thanks for reminder, just followed this step.

But I am seeing something fishy here. After the above step I restarted the VB and selected the source first, CD got detected as before, and then selected the target, then as before, it again asked me for the source media, and it ended up not finding it.

Again, I shut down everything, restarted the VB, booted up and selected the target first, and then selected the source and this time it was detected, and now it is installing the packages.

Thanks for help.
