Installation problem - Intel RAID Controller SRCU31

Hi,
there's RAID1 and I can't install slack 11.0. I've used test26.s and everething was fine. Raid controller & disk were found -
Code:

dmesg :
I2O Block Device OSM v1.325
i2o/hda: i2o/hda1 i2o/hda2 < i2o/hda5 i2o/hda6 >
block-osm: device added (TID: 00d): i2o/hda

Then I've tried to create partitions but there was no /dev/i2o !!??

Later I've connected ATA DISK and install slack on it (kernel 2.6.21 with I2O support). And now is ok, there are devices /dev/i2o/hda1.. . I can create partitions, etc.

But I want install system on array. Why there is no /dev/i2o during the installation ?? Any ideas??

Regards
Kisiel

Did you look here: http://i2o.shadowconnect.com/faq.php
Googling i2o was really daunting.

Chances are you will have to issue the mknod commands before fdisk.

Thanks PDock, but at first I'll try upgrade SRCU31 to SRCU31A(gdth module support this)
