install on slave drive?
I have fedora core 3 currently installed on my comp. I dual boot with windows xp as primary (on primary hard drive) and FC3 on my slave driver ... with grub of course. I am upgrading to Slackware 10.1, but whenever I load the CD-rom and use CFdisk, it doesn't recognize the slave hard drive. HOW DO I INSTALL SLACKWARE ON A SLAVE HARD DRIVE?
Slave Drive is Western Digital with 120 GB, 18 GB allocated to Linux ext3 partition and 2 GB allocated to SWAP partition. 100 GB is NTFS for windows use.

Just give cfdisk /dev/hdx (where hdx is the slave disk, substitute with hdb or whichever points to your slave disk).

I noticed that cfdisk also has finicky problems with recognizing your drive if there are some partition table inconsistencies. Try using plain fdisk otherwise and report here.
