If you want to install lilo to the MBR (this is the default installation) just choose the first option "try to install lilo automatically".
If you want to install lilo to some other place, like the root partition or whatever, choose the "expert" mode and install it where you want.

A bit more info would help:
1. Where do you want to install lilo, and why?
2. How many hard drives do you have?
3. Are you just booting Slackware? Or Slackware + Windows? Or Slackware +/- Windows + other linux distros?

If booting Slackware + other distros I would recommend grub instead of lilo. IMO it is just easier to manage multiple distros with grub. You can get grub from the /extra repo from any Slackware mirror. Or if your other distro already has grub installed to the MBR then just use that, and edit the grub menu.lst to boot Slackware.

I want to install it on partition boot sector but not the same partition as root.
Basically I'm asking is it enough to mount other partition as /boot during installation process like in other distros ?

Do you have a separate /boot partition? If you want to install lilo to a boot partition or some other place besides the MBR then just choose the expert mode when installing lilo. You should review the /etc/lilo.conf file before booting your system.
If you have trouble you can always boot with the Slackware 1st install CD. The option to pass to the boot line are listed right there on the boot up screen when you boot the CD. Then you can chroot into your system, mount your partitions, edit lilo.conf and then rerun lilo to fix it so you can boot your system.
