hi BashTin

everything you need is available at http://slackbuilds.org/

you can install sbopkg to make the process easier. Do you know what the queue files are? You can download the entire collection from here. Unpack them and place them in /var/lib/sbopkg/queues

Then, start sbopkg and load the queue for Inkscape

Thanks guys! First off think my main problem was I somehow trashed my system with my previous attempts at installing the dependencies. Building packages still failed horribly so did a 'quick' software reinstall. Then sbopkg took care of the rest.

sbopkg was previously unknown to me so thanks for sharing with me, looks very useful.

Inkscape now up and running.

BashTin.
