Init

Hello...

Well, I have a problem.. Dont we all, HEHE.

But I have no idea nor solution to this one, perhaps because I am an imbecil... Guess not, so it must be because I am a first time user. I am using Zipslack, but everytime it starts up it just writes "kernel panic: no Init Try passing init= option"

What should i do??

Yes, we all do. :) And you're not an imbecile - or, if you are, pleased to meet you, I'm an idiot. ;)

My understanding is that init is an executable invoked to run certain basic startup processes. It *sounds* like that isn't being found and so the system doesn't know what to do next. It's either asking you pass an option or a path to the kernel so it can find or know how to deal with init. That's my guess. What to do about it, I don't know. Are you sure you have the zipslack stuff installed correctly? Because I can't believe they'd leave that out. *g* It just sounds like it's not set up right. I assume you have the original zip, so maybe try going through the readmes again and reinstalling it. Never done zipslack, though. Don't know where all the slackers are.

Oops. Saw you already got it worked out it another thread. Never mind.
