I can't customise bbc.co.uk in Firefox 3.5.2

I'm running Slackware64 multilib.

I try to set the location but it won't accept it and defaults back to the vanilla BBC homepage. I can't add or remove sections or move them around. This was fine until a couple of days ago when I lost all my settings somehow. Cookies are being accepted by Firefox and private browsing is off.

The only thing I've done in the meantime is install the seamonkey upgrades as in the changelog. I tried removing my ~/.mozilla folder and starting again but to no avail so I'm not really sure why this is happening.

Seems it's not possible in Seamonkey or Konqueror either, I can't customise the page.

It doesn't work for me in Seamonkey or Firefox. It keeps getting me to set my location for local news and forgetting it. Stupid webpage !

Works fine for me, but perhaps that is because I used the same config files from 12.2.
