hw_random + alsa error

I have upgraded my system to current and when i reboot i get loads of errors basically sayin that insmod failed to load hw_random. Well so i decided to black list it . Strangely when i do this, although the error message disappears, my speedtouch modem microcode.dat won't load .

Also i get this message during starto:/usr/sbin/alsactl: set_control:892:bad control.47.value type. When i run alsaconf, it works but then stop working after restart until i run alsaconf again. Yes, i run alsactl store as well.

Okay, to get rid of the insmode hw_random errors, i blacklisted it. Now when i boot i get the following error message:

/proc/bus/usb/003/002 no such file or directory

and as a result my speedtouch modem does not work..
