Huawei modems connection seems to be Ok, but internet no working.

Hi!

I have two huawei modems (E153 and E353). E153 works fine with KPPP , but E353 not.
KPPP try to set up sound level after init=ATZ.

WVDIAL connect to ISP.Connection seems to be Ok, but internet no working.
ping works fine
no tcp or udp traffic.

#dhcpcd ppp0
dhcpcd[3123]: ppp0: sending IPv6 Router Solicitation
dhcpcd[3123]: ppp0: sendmsg: Network is unreachable
dhcpcd[3123]: ppp0: sending IPv6 Router Solicitation

dhcpcd[3123]: ppp0: sending IPv6 Router Solicitation

dhcpcd[3123]: ppp0: sending IPv6 Router Solicitation
dhcpcd[3123]: ppp0: sendmsg: Network is unreachable
dhcpcd[3123]: ppp0: no IPv6 Routers available

Bigger problem is E353 cause it's faster than E153.

after usb_modeswitch
TargetVendor=12d1 TargetProduct=1506

As you say, the connection seems OK. What do you mean exactly when you say that Internet is not working? What have you tried?
Is DNS working (look at /etc/resolv.conf)? It should be:
Code:
nameserver 193.229.0.40
nameserver 193.229.0.42
What does
Code:
route -n
show?
I have a Huawei E398 and it works very well.

Hi!
And more Info.
There is two resolv.conf files one in /etc/resolv.conf and other in /etc/ppp/resolv.conf
when all works there is same nameservers..but when inet not work only /etc/ppp/resolv.conf have nameserver 193.229.0.40
nameserver 193.229.0.42.

I think that ipv6 thing...

#dhcpcd ppp0
Iget this.
dhcpcd[11380]: version 5.5.6 starting
dhcpcd[11380]: ppp0: sending IPv6 Router Solicitation
dhcpcd[11380]: ppp0: sendmsg: Network is unreachable
dhcpcd[11380]: ppp0: sending IPv6 Router Solicitation
dhcpcd[11380]: ppp0: sendmsg: Network is unreachable
dhcpcd[11380]: ppp0: sending IPv6 Router Solicitation
dhcpcd[11380]: ppp0: sendmsg: Network is unreachable
dhcpcd[11380]: ppp0: sending IPv6 Router Solicitation
dhcpcd[11380]: ppp0: sendmsg: Network is unreachable
dhcpcd[11380]: ppp0: no IPv6 Routers available
dhcpcd[11380]: timed out
dhcpcd[11380]: allowing 8 seconds for IPv4LL timeout
dhcpcd[11380]: timed out

and trouble continues.

disable ipv6

You can disable ipv6 in various ways, but I suggest you do it in lilo.conf:
Code:
append="quiet vt.default_utf8=1 ipv6.disable=1"
don't forget to run lilo command:
Code:
# lilo
and IPv6 will be disabled on next boot.

/etc/ppp/resolv.conf is created by pppd when the connection is established (usepeerdns option of pppd). When the Internet is not working try copying it manually from /etc/ppp/resolv.conf to /etc/resolv.conf and see if your connection starts working.
I am not familiar with wvdial or kppp (I use pppd only) but I think that both use pppd for the connection.
