Hplip error
 

Hi. Im trying to install my jetdirect printer but I always get error. I've tried using root, sudoer but nothing works.

Slack64-current

Then I keep going and after selec printer and ppd file, I get this error:

error: No PPD found for model laserjet_professional_p_1102w using old algorithm.

Any ideas?

PS: Used to work perfect.

The plugins installation program does not work.

I have installed may laserjet_professional_p_1102, but not directly with the HPLIP installation programs.
As far as I remember I have done the following:

-- download https://www.openprinting.org/downloa....11-plugin.run and
https://www.openprinting.org/downloa...plugin.run.asc

-- run 'sh hplip-3.15.11-plugin.run' as user, this will copy the plugins somewhere in the ~/.hplip directory , but installation is still impossible

-- copy the plugins files to directory firmware/ that must be created created in /usr/share/hplip/data/

-- create the file /var/lib/hp/hplip.state containing

-- then I could install the printer via CUPS
