how to use cmatrix as kde4 screensaver?

I just installed this really cool matrix program from slackbuilds, but I do not know how to set it up as the default screensaver for my desktop.

I also found no solution from google it seem.... Anyone able to help?

Cmatrix is a ncurses terminal screensaver. You can go into Systemsettings-Display and Monitor-Screen Locker and and find similar one called "The Matrix" there.

xwinwrap is a tool that allows the user to run pretty much anything as the background(even media players on loop), but I also think that there was some incompatibility with compositors.

I'm running xmonad, so setting root window things pretty much always works. KDE does its own thing...can't test it right now, but xwinwrap is the go to tool for this kind of functionality.

Thanks, Geist.

But how do I set it up as a screensaver that will be auto activated by kde after a predetermined period of idle?

gwinwrap might also be an option:
