Hi,

How to uninstall programs? I know how to unzip and install programs using tar.

Is RPM good?

*PLEASE* read the rpm manpage for lots and lots of lovely lovely information

I know about rpm -e.

I mean how to uninstall programs not installed using rpm. Those of .tar.gz format.

Thanks.

Often the program has an option to make uninstall or make distclean or something along those lines.

Another option is select search from the right upper coner of the website, and fill in "uninstall" and watch what you get.
This post wasn't intented to piss you off or anything, it was an advertisement of the search feature embedded into this great website.
