How to start the window?
 

Hi--slackware 10 is my first Linux. I cant start the window.

I run the xorgconfig and make the change and then run startx.
it didn't work and leave some error messege. what else can I do.

You must have made a mistake in your xorg.conf, I hope you still have the old one....

If you can tell us exactly what the error messages are, somebody might be able to help.

Aside from editing /etc/X11/xorg.conf ( remember to change the vsync and hsync of your monitor edit the part for your video card)

You might need to install drivers for your video card.
