Can't find any howto's on this.
Need to print to a HP 660C via SMC7004ABR router.
My printer plugs directly into this router.
AnyBody done this?
AnyBody out there print through a router?
How did you do it?
Don't have 2 weeks to figure out how to print something . . .
I have a similar request, in that I too need some help in printing to a networked printer via an XP Pro box with file sharing & printer sharing enabled through a Netgear router (RP614v2). The printer is NOT networked in the "true sense", but shared. (If that makes any sense!). I have a dual OS on this box, XP Pro and Slackware 9.1 (via swaret updating 9.0).
I have been putting this "off" because I am not the sharpest tool in the shed, yet, when it comes to Slack, but have been "toyin around for a number of months".
If I can get this print issue resolved, and next will be my cd burning capability, I will be one step closer to dumping M$ XP!
I thought I would "add" to this thread rather than start "anew", because I really didn't want to "upset" a moderator by having to be referred to a thread with a "similar topic.". Know what I mean? Never heard the term "highjacking" used, how negative does THAT sound?
