Window Maker is part of every Slackware release I've used. You'll find it under slackware-10.2/slackware/xap

or type

Code:
xwmconfig
To see if it's already installed.

xwmconfig is unique to slackware. It allows you to change your desktop environments without editing a text file.

All it does is create a ~/.xinitrc file with the correct program name for your window manager.

Window Maker is available with most Linux distros. Check the Window Maker homepage for a tutorial and more info. There's a learning curve, but it's definately worth the effort.

Some DockApps you'll want to install are wmcalclock, wmweather, wmpower (for laptops). They are not part of Slackware but not hard to install from source either.

Thanks liquidtenmilion! You understood his question better than I did.
