how to install slackware from hdd with a floppy


i have download slack 10

wanna install it i have store it in my windows partitions
D: (hda5)

how can i boot a witha floppy and install slackware in to hda7

(hda6 is swap)

For general installation: http://www.slackware.com/install/

When you are on setup you can choose the source of slackware files.

i had tryed boot with the 9.1 cd 1

i have mount the partition in /mnt

but how can i start setup from the *iso

Oh, you have the iso, well you have to open in with some program that can read it and extract it's content. Slackware's setup won't read the iso file as it's a cd image.

i will extract the cd 1 and cd 2 seperate folder isn't ??

Just keep in mind where you extract ISO's (partition + path to directories), I would try the windows disk utility to note the start sector number and the end sector number of that partition in case of.

i have install slackware 9.1 (i have cd's)

then i have upgrage it from /root/slackwrae/*/*.tgz (10.0)
