how to install rtorrent for slackware64-current?

i am in slackware64-current but i did a
Code:
slackpkg clean-system
command after the upgrade so i lost a third party package ie the (in)famous rtorrent app...

i would like to reinstall it on my machine.....i have been advised by an LQ member, that 14.1 slackbuilds need not necessarily work for current...

i searched alien bob's packages, but no i didnt find rtorrent for current in there....
in such a scenario, if i cant use the exisitng 14.1 slackbuilds rtorrent file, how and from where would i get rtorrent for current?
how do i go about installing rtorrent app?

or can i make a slackbuild as described in slackdocs(http://www.slackwiki.com/Writing_A_SlackBuild_Script) for the same?what are the points i should be aware of when making for current?

any links for rtorrent download or guidance for slackbuild script would be great....thanks in advance...

"not necessarily" doesn't mean that they don't work.
in fact SBo's libtorrent and rtorrent build fine on current.
if you need some patches for what doesn't build you can check here.

my 2 cent: current is the development version of slackware and you should use it if you feel confident to solve issues yourself.
do you feel like it?
if you don't it's safer to stay on stable...

yes, rtorrent from 14.1 repo is working fine for current...

i always feel making slackbuilds is the correct way to go..and if it is in slackbuilds repo or bob's then its good to go...else make your own...
