Happy to hear that you made it finally!
Don't forget to enter the Kodi Addons setting Add-ons>My Add-ons>PVR Clients and configure + enable iptv simple.
Also don't forget that this iptv simple addon is in a beta/unstable state, so you might get into some issues with it. I did play with it a little, created a file where I put a list of IPTV sources, configured the iptv simple addon to load it and had no issues playing those streams.
ATM I'm using tvheadend to stream some DVB-C & DVB-S2 sources and the pvr.hts addon in Kodi to play them, it's very stable and performing well.
