Red face How to install ImageMagick

Hi guys,

How to install ImageMagick on slackware? I can't run ./configure after I uncompress the file. I was trying to install a software and it says Imagemagick is not installed but when if I run identify -version there is some kind of version displayed but I'm not sure if it is installed.

Thanks in advance
Allanitto

ImageMagick comes with slackware if you did a normal full install.

ls /var/log/packages/imagemagick-*

And if it is not there, install it using your package manager.

If you have the Slackware CD/DVD and haven't performed the full install you should be able to find it the xap directory. For example, after your device has been mounted you could run the command below as root.

Code:
  # installpkg /media/SlackDVD/slackware/xap/imagemagick-6.5.9_6-i486-1.txz
