How to change white background in KDE apps under Fluxbox?

Hi,

I like working with light text on black bg in Fluxbox however I need to use Kate editor which has bright white background and dark text. How can I change the background to black? (and the side panel of file list, too)? I presume I need to change the kde theme under Fluxbox. Does anyone know where the config file is and what to change in there if it's not obvious? Many thanks.

Try opening a terminal and type systemsettings, then click general tab > look & feel > appearance > colors.

Doesn't Kate support color schemes?

Thanks, it worked. I used the systemsettings command to change the KDE theme to inverse - that took care of the filelist bg and buttons, etc and I found the bg color setting in Kate and used that to change the edit space bg color.
