how to autostart dockapps and other stuff in BBox GUI login in slack?

Everything I have read and tried so far all leads back to using startx w/ .xinit xClient ~/.blackbox/startup etc

GUI runlevel 4 does not source them (right) so nothing is getting started when I login to BB.

Does anyone know how to get this to autostart so I can use the slit and dockapps when logging in?

I think I found a way, I just have not tested it yet, due to dl slack-mirror currently.

I had trouble with that one, too.

Try here:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/libdockapp/

If that doesn't work, I think there's another docklet that might work, called wmbattery.

thanks but nope it is still 2.0.0
Code:
 "libdockapp.so.2.0.0" "libdockapp.so")
I got a few of them that say they need libdockapp.so.3 to work.
Just wanted to check them out more than anything. If it is a required lib then that lib has to be around somewhere, or was.

for a whole lot of them to anyone that was or is looking and hits this page.

Two ways:
1) For a limited list of things to run at startup, customize /usr/bin/startblackbox, as this script is executed in both runlevels 3 and 4.
2) Use the autostart XDG specification. You will need a starter (e.g. fbautostart), a tray (e.g stalonetray) and of course the .desktop for the apps you want to autostart in a proper location, see the specification.

In the attached pic you see BlackBox configured for Slint. But that's probably more than you want

Ah HA I didn't even know that was there. I just started on this bbox today. That web sight documentation said nothing of this one.

I can just slap what I got in the startup script I wrote into this one and it should work just fine.

I am using fbautostart already for something in BBox in the startup file I have in .blackbox/startup. wmsystemtray for nm-applet and such.

thanks!
