How install slackware on VDS (lilo/grub error)

Hello

I would like to install Slackware-current on VDS server.
I tried it but I could not install lilo or grub.
Lilo:

Code:

LILO gives Fatal : raid_setup : stat ("dev/vda")

Grub:

Code:

grub-install /dev/vda
or
grub-install --target i386-pc /dev/vda

error: Decompressor is too big

I am sure it has a solution.
Give me a hint, please.
