See /etc/proftpd.conf
The files are in /home/ftp

To connect from another computer
ftp your_ip_address

This post on linuxquestions.org should help you out:
http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...threadid=45771

Proftpd is included if you chose to install it. Go to the command line and type

whereis proftpd

In general, open the port in /etc/inetd.conf by uncommenting the line.
Edit the configuration script in /etc/proftpd.conf

There is more to it than that but this should help get you going. Visit http://www.proftpd.org/ for specific documents and help.

Another user would connect via your IP address.
