how do I play video DVDs on slackware 14.1 none of the installed players work

dragon player NO GO
kplayer NO GO
mplayer NO GO
xine NO GO in fact xine locked up when I tried

inorder to play dvd you need to install http://slackbuilds.org/repository/14...ies/libdvdnav/ there are certain things that are a fine line GPL world.
so better left for the user to go get them.
That will allow you to navigate the dvd. and let the player play it.
