Create a partition for Windows. I don't know about those versions, but Windows 7 doesn't like logical partitions. Install it. When you're done, either boot from the Slack CD or from the USB boot-disk you can create in install or using pkgtool. Edit your lilo.conf so that it chainloads to the Windows partition, run lilo and it works.

Hi,
The norm is to install M$ Xp first then do the Slackware or Gnu/Linux install. M$ can be done after Gnu/Linux but it is more work. Why not use a Slackware VM host for client M$ installs? I like 'VirtualBox' while some like QEMU or KVM (Kernel Based Virtual Machine), KVM requires (Intel VT or AMD-V). :hattip: |
I figured i could install over again. made two diff partitions installed windows 7 professional first then installed slackare so it recognizes the window partition so i can boot either when i want :) Thanks for the help guys.
