how do I install unshield-0.4?

Can anyone tell me how to install unshield-0.4? I tried:

root@johnvillegas# tar xzvf unshield-0.4-i486-1.tgz

and got an error that read:

gzip: stdin: unexpected end of file
tar: Child returned status 1
tar: Error exit delayed from previous errors
#============================================End of error

If you got that, I assume that the package got corrupted when you downloaded it. I checked the original just to be sure, and it is OK.

it's also possible that you downloaded tar.gz file which has been renamed to .tgz file. You should check the contents first before you install those kind of packages, unless you download from Slackware repository
