How do I install gksu in 12.2 ?

Im installing slackware in virtualbox as a test run. Ive finished initial setup and Ive created a user and logged in to xfce. Now I want to install the vboxguest additions but I need gksu for the script to work. I searched the slackware package browser but theres no gksu. Also where can I find htop?

Here is the link for the slackbuilds. It's fairly straight forward.

Not a problem!:) Just make sure you build libgksu first.

I can see this is going to take some time, libgksu requires GConf, libgtop, and gnome-keyring.

Is there any tool to automate the process, kinda like yaourt does for AUR?

There sure is! SBOPKG! Here's the link: http://www.sbopkg.org/

Makes working with slackbuilds much, much easier!!

I'm not sure why something is saying you need gksu for vbox guest additions, but you don't.
However, if you insist, you might have a look at ktsuss (also at SlackBuilds.org). While I won't go so far as to *recommend* doing this, I have found that quite a few things are happy enough using ktsuss instead if you trick them:
Code:

# cd /usr/bin
# ln -s ktsuss gksu

:-)

Yea, it was only the autorun.sh that requires gksu, I could have just executed the .run directly without gksu but its already installed and working perfectly now anyway. Thanks again guys for your help.
