How do I install gksu in 12.2 ?
Im installing slackware in virtualbox as a test run. Ive finished initial setup and Ive created a user and logged in to xfce. Now I want to install the vboxguest additions but I need gksu for the script to work. I searched the slackware package browser but theres no gksu. Also where can I find htop?

I can see this is going to take some time, libgksu requires GConf, libgtop, and gnome-keyring.
Is there any tool to automate the process, kinda like yaourt does for AUR? |

I'm not sure why something is saying you need gksu for vbox guest additions, but you don't.
However, if you insist, you might have a look at ktsuss (also at SlackBuilds.org). While I won't go so far as to *recommend* doing this, I have found that quite a few things are happy enough using ktsuss instead if you trick them: Code:
# cd /usr/bin |
Yea, it was only the autorun.sh that requires gksu, I could have just executed the .run directly without gksu but its already installed and working perfectly now anyway. Thanks again guys for your help.
