Well.. I installed the one from the link useing pkgtool... Same stuff is happening. Maybe I am supposed to uninstall it somehow?

OK.. from the folder where you did your install originall. make uninstall.
OR make clean.

Then try to install the package that you downloaded from ~/extra/ again.

This is fun, should be doing this via irc though instead... look for me in irc.freenode.net #slackware same user name.
