Hosting and using SubDirectories in Apache

Hi, i was wondering how to setup Apache Webserver that comes with Slackware to use it as a WebServer. I know how to host in the devault directory /var/www/htdocs but when i create subdirectories it dosnt come up from a remote location. Any suggestions on how i can fix this? Thankyou

take a closer look at /etc/apache/httpd.conf
and look at the manual -> http://httpd.apache.org/docs/
