Question Help: xorgconfig settings on Thinkpad R32

I've searched all over on google and this forum, but nothing yields specific information on settings for my laptop.

I have an IBM Thinkpad R32 with ATI Radeon Mobility M6 LY with 16MB of shared memory. It usually runs on 1024 x 768 resolution.

I want to know how to set the vertical and horizontal sync ranges.

Please give any tips to other websites or if you know off-hand, that would be even better.

Thank you in advance.

you will probably have to add a ModeLine to the xorg config..

there is a program for generating a modeline..

`gtf --help`

though i wouldnt recommend a modeline unless it does it not work when you put it in the monitor section of the xorg.. try that first..
